All classes are setup on an hourly tuition basis. This means that the monthly tuition is calculated based on total hours of class per week. Tuition is due the first day of each month without exception and is not pro-rated for classes missed. We STRONGLY encourage students to use our autodraft program. The length in hours of each class can by found by clicking on the "Class Schedule" button on our homepage. In addition to tuition there is a one-time annual registration fee, recital fee, and costume fee as outlined below.

Registration Fee
There is a one-time annual non-refundable registration fee
of $25 per student enrolled. The student only pays this fee
once each year and does not pay multiple registration fees
for taking more than one class. This fee does not apply to
our group shag lessons.
Recital Fees
There will be a one-time $40 fee for students participating in the annual year-end recital as well as extra fees for costumes. The recital fee includes a DVD of the performance for each student.
Discounts on Pricing
We offer discounts for families with more than one student
enrolled. We also offer a $10/month discount for students enrolling
in our auto-draft payment program. Please email or call the
studio to discuss your specific situation.
Group Shag Lesson Pricing
Our ongoing series of group shag lessons consist of 4-weeks
of instruction for $50 per person. Classes free for Junior
Shaggers (under 21 years old). Depending on demand at different
times of year we may be offering classes specifically for Junior
Shaggers - contact the studio for more information. Click on
our Dance Lessons link for description of ongoing group shag
classes.
Gift Certificates
We offer gift certificates for private or group lessons. Gift
certificates are not redeemable for cash. Please call studio
for more details.
MISSED OR CANCELLED CLASSES:
Missed Classes
If a student misses a class, she/he can make it up in a similar
class within a month of the date missed. Please check with
your teacher for an appropriate time to make up the instruction.
Absences DO NOT reduce the monthly tuition rates.
Drop or Change Classes - Tuition will continue to be charged until written notice received or change made via online customer portal
Inclement Weather
Regular child classes will NOT be held on days when Charlotte
Mecklenburg Schools are closed for bad weather - these classes
will be made up at the discretion of the teacher. Cancelled
classes due to inclement weather DO NOT reduce the monthly
tuition rate.
Payment Methods
We accept cash, check, Visa, or Master Card. For your convenience,
we are also happy to setup direct charge to a credit card for
students enrolled in ongoing monthly classes; students using
auto draft receive a $10 monthly discount.
Late Fees & Bounced Checks
Tuition is due the 1st day of each month without exception.
There is a $10 fee for late tuition with a maximum window of
30 days before your child will be asked to not attend a class.
There is a $25 fee for bounced checks, so don't do it!
